You and Slackette might find some decent riding at Clinton, but it is still in its worst shape ever. :( :( :( The trail, especially some of the white, has been torn up/excavated to the point that it will not drain water - and as of last weekend it was still holding water (and mud) in several places. Because it is all in the shade, it won't evaporate water, either. So sad.

The lake water level is still very high. No one has seen the red trail since winter - it, along with the beach, remains under water.

On a more cheerful note, even though LRT is "challenge free," there is still plenty of fun to be had there. Especially with the new single-track west of Mud creek area.

Have fun,
TR

Well, it is fairly new. Winds up and down a bit with some fun turns while weaving through the trees. Gotta go through Mud creek to get there. No problem. WFO.

Have fun and live on the edge!

LRT is usually good after 48 hrs of hot, humid, sticky, intolerable KS heat. :D We will check it out for sure!

I actually went there late last night but it got real dark so I chickened out half way. It was really loose in the west half of the trail. I might be there tonight at around 6:30.
