All of The Gibson's are officially registered and we're making our first "bike to errand" to the store to get some grub for dinner.

Well, I left the little purple car at work and commuted back and forth without it for the weekend. I have to say, riding back to the apartment in the driving rain last night and comming in at 5 AM this morning with huge side gusts, I hope the rest of the week is fair and warm .

I made it into work incident free (I was pretty skeered about riding on Blackbob Road). I told my wife this was one of the first times I've arrived at work with a smile on my face!! :D

725 miles

Michael, you may have to ride your bike to Colorado to beat Garmin this year. And what is up with Raytown Daycare having more members sign up than Earthriders

Note to self: leave laptop and shoes at work...all week!

I swear I had more pounds on my back this morning than I do on a week-long hiking trip in Colorado. I was sure that every crack in the road I went over was the last one before my rear tire blew.

I'm leaving my shoes and anything else I can in my office so I don't have to lug them around. Don't tell anyone I work with but I think I might leave my jeans here and just wear them till they start to smell

I made it to work today no problemo (quivera was a little sketchy) but I never signed up for any team for mileage...sorry

It's probably too late but I'd add 18 miles a day if I can still get on and help the 'earthriders' team (even though I am not a member, just a sponge for knowledge)

I am however very lazy at signing up for anything...

It's not too late and the registration is super easy. This is my first year doing it and I'm kinda looking at ways to get my mileage up since I live close to work and don't run a lot of errands at night.

He's right, Bovine -- it's only too late to sign up for the Car Free Challenge when it ends on Friday night. As team captain, I can add/edit data for you anytime. And no need to be an ER member to join the team. We welcome all.

And in general, for adding to the cause of reducing car use by riding 18 miles per day, I thank you for that.

Didn't Boulevard have some kind of shindig at the end of the week last year? Is that happening again this year?

Sunday, in their Tasting Room. What a good time. If I wasn't already involved, I'd sign up just for that!
