I haven't been out there. However, my guess is that it would be o.k. for trail running, but probably not ready for tires. If you go, I would probably avoid the entrance to the woods down by the pond in the S.E. corner of the park, that is likely to be soupy. I suspect the Phase II trail will be a little greasy. If you enter Phase I at point 2a, you should be good. (Check out the map on the blog to remind yourself where 2a is if you don't know). If I get out there, I will post an update. I was out at Smithville today (riding paved trail) and most of that trail looked fine for trail running.

Thanks Matt. I will tread lightly if I make it out.

Is the trail ready to ride? Or is anyone going out there tonight to work?

If Stocksdale is good, I'll be hittin' it up on Wed morning. If you are not far from Smithville, it is good to go with only a couple very small spots you would have to walk over.

Stocksdale is largely good. If you go to the blog and look at the map, I would suggest avoiding the entrance to the woods at 1B. I would use the short cut at 2A.

There are some seeps in the woods past 1B. I currently have a plan to address those, hopefully on Friday. Otherwise, you should be pretty good. There is one muddy spot deep in the woods, just ride through the middle or walk it.

Thanks for the advice. I rode the whole trail and back a small chunk from the end. I just worked on my cross dismount, jump and remount unless they seemed to have some stability. Post about Saturday morning work and I should be able to make it. Weekday AM not good for me though. I plan on going to Smithville Wed and then I am volunteering for Bonebender to get a look at racing. Thanks again.
