Dr G... send out our good wishes.

Look, static can play nice with others!

I got my 5.88 in this AM... so I'll have 11.75 on the day plus my .25 walk at lunch.
I'll try to talk the kid into running errands on two wheels this evening, so a few miles should come in there.

Who drove today??? Please use your lunch hour to drive over to Garmin and deflate as many tires as you can. :)

According to my buddy who I forwarded that notice to...

"Once a marine always a marine"... but now we're playing semantics.

Looks like Cow Town has the average per rider crown. I blame Harter.

OK, FORMER marine Nickell is doing fine, going home from ER. Won't be riding for a bit, but we can get him on ER commuter team next year. 5 years in the USMC, almost taken out by an old man in a car. Sad, ride safely. See yoy all at SMP tonight. G

Aw, it's all good, as long as we are riding.

I've gotten a couple emails from one of my Garmin buddies, but he's just way too nice, we can't even get any good trash talking going. I was wondering if there a card inside the boxes of all the bloody edge contraptions asking the buyers to log on and log their milage. (I'm kidding by the way, I don't really think they are cheating!)

Phphphbbbbttt!

I take heart in the fact that it takes them 110% more riders to do 40% more miles.

Cowtown doesn't count in this figuring, btw. They got Chris Locke and Harter (Faster), and that's just not human. Frankly, I think they're robots, built by the government to infiltrate our society and keep us in line, but currently experiencing malfunctions that cause them to ride their bikes for inhuman distances. So I guess we're safe (for the moment).

I'm liking the question: did the old man receive anything more than a pat on the back for tagging a cyclist? Must be the cyclist's fault, you know -- he should have been in a car.

That is the only time that Boulevard had available. Their event space is booked solid for the next year and a half. We were lucky they were able to squeeze us in. And they are doing it all for free, so we can't complain...
