Too bad you can't get credit for the other million times you've made that impressive haul to your work.

I rode today, and it was a beautiful day for it. 12 miles on the way in. I have to be at my kid's music program at 6:30 this evening, so I'm gonna have to boogie on the way home.

I didn't see anyone this morning, but my commute is pretty rural.

Me too, hope the wind does not switch by then!

And Joe, you are slipping behind already, you will need to do lots of errands on the bike this week.

Bike to work

Postby steved on Mon May 14, 2007 10:38 am

9.5 miles this morning. Funny I didn't see anyone else riding. Maybe had something to do with I have to be to work by 6 am. Good ride in 75% downhill. Going home is going to blow.

That seems to be my place in this crowd.

Is there a place to compare the teams milage? I can see our team total, but not others. Maybe it's not ready yet?

I rode my 3.5 miles to the bus this morning.

I saw one bike commuter while walking the dogs on the Boulevard this morning and I was already in a dorky orange cycling jersey, so he waved...

You can also log miles on the bus, but they seem to be calculated differently, as my bus ride is 19.5, but when the total came up it said 13.25...

Tonight's ride will be into the wind...

Road in and have 12 miles ready to log. I got in early, so I did not see any other people on bikes.

Southwest winds? Crap. I'm in trouble. And I think I'm destined to get a little sunburned...

I checked my bike at lunch (looked at it while on my lunch walk) and there was another bike there to keep it company!!!! I don't know who it belongs to, but I thought that was cool anyway. I didn't see anyone riding when I was on my way in though. I'm really looking forward to someone yelling at me out their car window because I've got the perfect comeback for them:

"3 DOLLARS A GALLON"

That's all I'm going to say. Of course, now that I'm ready for them, that probably gaurentees a quiet week. I guess I'm ok with that too.
