Keep coming out! The best way to get better is to ride with people that are better riders than you. We'll keep you off highline at least for the next couple rides. It was a fantastic night to be out riding.

Great ride last night. The cut tree limbs the horsey riders left all over Highline barely busted the flowy spots.

Good meeting you last night Junior. Those hills are the best way to get you in better shape. Livin so close you should make it a point to hit them as much as possible.

We started out as a group of 4 that left the Sandtrap around 5:30. At about 5:45 we had our first flat, at about 6 we had our first major yard sale, at about 6:20 after a cut sidewall and blowout and sore shoulder, our group was down to 2. Max and I made the best of it though. We rode everything on the east side once, high line and bohoca twice and ended up with about 9.5 miles.

I needed that ride. I was dying on every hill but it felt good to be back out there. As long as the schedule allows I'll be at all of the TT rides.

A pic from a rest after highline (notice the clean tires and dry trail):

Awesome! I may have to get the Northland crew to make a field trip down for TT if conditions hold.

You mean like on Tuesday July 20th? Still a few weeks out, but that's the planned ER get together for July because some of us knew the trails would be in fine shape by then.

I was going to hit Kill creek after work tomorrow now i think burp is calling. dose the entrance from lidea still connect to everything or is the sand trap the new starting point for burp?

The Lydia trailhead is still there, however, the river crossing may have been washed out. It was pretty sketchy last fall and I'm sure this wet spring hasn't helped.

I hit nearly all of BuRP yesterday. Parked at the 118th and Lydia trail head. Someone did an unbelievable amount of rock work in the river at the crossing near the oil pump. I rode across at that crossing, and with a 29'r didn't even get my bottom bracket wet. But really if you are near there you should check out the rock work. It looks like someone either tried to build a very elaborate fish trap, or a hobo hot-tub, either way it must have taken the better part of a day to complete.

Also rode the eastside river trail, it was dry and great, and a big hats off to the person that did all the trimming, it was great to not be bushwacked.

Lastly speaking of wacking-in-the-bush. I also rode up on 2 very suprised older men that just happened to be hanging out in the woods off the northern section of the eastside river trail. They must have been bird watching.
