Instead of you all fighting over who's slowest, why don't ya try stepping up your game a little. I'm mainly talking to you though GREG!

Stocksdale Pain

Postby Toxis » Wed Jul 03, 2013 3:32 pm

I've more than stepped my game up over the past year and a half. Endurance much better, getting faster, lighter, everything. I still hold the (self proclaimed) title for '11 and '12 but it looks like some new riders want the '13 title. I'd gladly hand down the crown but it has to be proven. And maybe I'm just riding with the upper scale riders of Taco Tuesday but until I ride with someone slower, (who isn't hindered by equipment or recently banged up against a tree; tgraham) I'll hold the title.
UNOFFICIAL SLOWEST RIDER OF '11 & '12.
SLOWEST REGULAR RIDER OF '13, '14, '15 and beyond I'm sure.
Bought a fat bike to hold the record...

Just as a follow-up, I clocked about 77-78'/mile at Blue River (mostly east side, but including Wagon Wheel and one run down Little Moab)

Yesterday's race at WyCo clocked pretty much right at 100'/mile via my Garmin yesterday. My mileage shows 21.0 miles for 3 laps and 2018' of gain. Cliff swears the laps are 8.0 miles and a little more gain than that, but at my counts are probably pretty consistent with Tony's, as we're probably both using Garmins. We lose just a little accuracy in the woods, but it's better than nothing.
Bike racing is good. The people you meet, the struggles you overcome, the highs and lows, the downhills, the finish lines. Bikes in general just make us better people. -Cameron Chambers
