Gravel Routes for up North!

You may have luck with this, around Weston...one we did a while back, if you scroll down to my post in this thread:

There was also the gravelicious gravel grinder event, they did 2013 and 2014, but looks to be dead now...the route had some in common with the above, but I couldn't quickly find it, maybe if you dig through the facebook page:

If you learn/hear of any places to ride i would be interested too. I think a lot of people ride up north by Smithville lake near j hwy but i am not sure where.

Weston would be a little far for me to do often.

Yeah, I know some of the smv riders would meet at the smoken Davy trail head on W and do a gravel ride, mostly north, from there. Don't know the routes myself.

Missouri City out to Richmond and back is mostly gravel on this one.

Anyone have any easy spots to park and get some gravel in the liberty area? I have a friend looking for 20+ miles of gravel and is up that way. The routes on here are 50+ which might be a bit much... thanks!
