SMP North Trails

My rainout line added a future SMP North Trail. Will this be designated hiking only?

You're reading it wrong. SMP Trails was renamed to SMP North and is the existing trail system and, as it says in the title, it's open to hiking and biking. The new trail, SMP South, when it opens, will be for hiking only.

South trail will replace the old walking trail south of the lake. Based on the old trail being open 100% of the time, will this new trail be open all the time too, or closed when wet?

The new trail will be gated just like the north trails.

Will there be more than one location to enter the South Shore Trails? The eastern loop looks to be about 3 miles, and the western loop about 1 mile. What fatty wants to know is can I get direct access to the 1 mile loop if I'm looking to get in a shorter run?
Bike racing is good. The people you meet, the struggles you overcome, the highs and lows, the downhills, the finish lines. Bikes in general just make us better people. -Cameron Chambers

The entry point will be the same as the old trail. Shelter 8 at the top of the dam and Walnut Grove. The 3 mile loop from Walnut Grove is two loops stacked.

This is the hiking trail that goes through the dog park, right?
UNOFFICIAL SLOWEST RIDER OF '11 & '12.
SLOWEST REGULAR RIDER OF '13, '14, '15 and beyond I'm sure.
